Small and special: Our expertly crafted accessories last a lifetime. They are designed to be unique, yet trend-relevant, while supporting a buy less, buy better consumer practice.
High-quality fabrics: We source only high-quality silk, cashmere, velvet and wool. We never use materials derived from fossil fuels.
Timeless design: We feature our scarves through an extended seasonal cycle of 1 1/2 years rather than a single trend cycle because we feel the latter model propels a “buy more” mindset.
Our Renew and Refresh Collection: Known for its unique, zero-waste construction, the scarves in this small-batch offering are revitalized from past seasons’ material into one-of-a-kind designs.

Equitable pay and proper credit: Through all of our collaborations in production and marketing we pay people living wages and give credit where credit is due. Our models have vibrant personalities and artistry beyond their featured work on our pages, which is why we always tag and credit their work.
Recycled and compostable shipping products: The materials we use to ship our expertly-crafted pieces are almost entirely recycled and compostable: shipping tape 100%, Box 80%, Tissue 90%, Shipping bags 90%, carbon negative and compostable.

Naturally grown fabrics and dyeing methods: We commit to exploring and sourcing more materials that are grown and dyed naturally.
Clean energy shipping: We commit to investigating and sourcing more fabrics that are shipped on boats using cleaner fuel like hydrogen rather than diesel.

Jil herself sees an infinite number of color combinations and contrasts in the natural world— reminding us that there are an endless possibilities of texture, motion, memories, and dreams to inspire us every day. Her love of the natural world motivates her commitment to sustainable and ethical fashion.
Jil Dever began her seasoned career in New York City, where her fabric creations caught the eyes of Oscar de la Renta and Mary McFadden. Her one-of-a-kind patterns and bold colors were translated into couture masterpieces that walked the runway. When Jil decided to strike out on her own, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks 5th Avenue, Joyce HK, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom immediately picked up her designs. She is featured in luxury boutiques throughout the country and across the globe. Jil is now based in Portland, Oregon.
